The Civic Narrative is a nonpartisan publication and community collective with the mission to build dialogue around experiences and issues affecting communities. We do not provide news coverage or investigative journalism – in the ‘traditional’ sense; rather, we peel away the layers around announcements, policy, regulatory changes and issues that affect a diverse range of communities at the municipal, provincial and national levels in Canada and abroad.
Established in 2026, The Civic Narrative was born out of a silenced frustration regarding the gap between decision-makers and the communities they’re meant to serve. We’re here to build a bridge that informs both sides and elevates our frustrations into constructive and actionable dialogue.
